Typhoons and Hurricanes

 This 1971 U.S. Navy training film educated sailors on the dangers of hurricanes and typhoons. Part 1 introduces the basic science behind a hurricane, and explains the Navy’s meteorological techniques for tracking and detecting them. Part 2 gives detailed instruction on procedures for weathering a hurricane in port or at sea.
